
Rewind Technique
The rewind Technique is a gentle yet powerful approach for reducing the emotional charge behind intrusive thoughts, anxiety, nightmares, and trauma-related symptoms- even when the event wasn't a major incident or when the cause feels unclear.
There is no requirement to describe or give any details of your traumatic experience which is why rewind is known to give "closure without disclosure".
How REWIND Works
Rewind is a structured guided imagery process which helps the brain safely process experiences that felt overwhelming at the time. (real or imagined). You do not need a formal diagnosis of PTSD for it to help, you just need a memory, incident, or recurring fear that your mind keeps reacting to.
With a few sessions, many clients noticed reduced triggers, improved sleep and a greater sense of control.
A follow-up session is included to review progress and discuss any next steps.
Who is REWIND for?
